SCAM Sounds like a scam. Indian voice says he's from Sky and local people are using my internet. Asking questions about my modem etc. I put the phone down and he keeps ringing.......persistent and pushy.
scam -- starts as a recorded message about a £600 transaction, if you press 1 some indian guy tries to get your bank details. He hung up when I said I knew the man in MountVille California who was accessing my account !!!

National Trust welcome phone call - followed by email sent from [email?protected], which is their legitimate email address (according to the website). Caller was able to confirm when I had joined and my email address. REALLY HELPFUL and polite gentleman on the call who provided useful site/location information suited to my needs.

This number is given as the "customer services" number on a fake eBay email. The email is for a high value item that has supposedly just been purchased on my account and to call customer services if there's an issue. I do not have an eBay account associated with the email address I received the email on. This numbers has been spamming me with other numbers as well for more than 6 months. They won t stop and they are organized. Whenever I blacklist the numbers, a new one starts spamming again. They go from Spain to London. Unfortunately I have answered one of them and this is organized fraud.
SCAM / SPAM I received a call today, 18th of August 2020 from this number and it was a robotic voice stating it was the HMRC and that the name associated to my number had been involved in fraud. To press 1 otherwise i will be arrested shortly. I didn't check with HMRC, but i doubt this is the way HMRC contacts you if you are involved in any type of fraud. Be aware people! They are probably hunting for your data to commit fraud. I wish they could catch all these people doing this kind of stuff.
