I am on telephone Pref list. No idea how they got my number- they are based in Liverpool- ban them- prosecute them - get them on the airways

Ambulance Chasers! Phoning about "accident in last 2.5 years". A Glasgow number though not necessarily based there, using 0141 to increase chance of people in surrounding area answering call (as I did). Caller was polite enough and accepted my lack of interest without question.

rang asking for my 98 year old mother, fortunately I answered. Said from "energy Trust" based in Hereford Talked about renewable energy,solar panelsetc.Said not interested twice and when I asked him to remove phone number from list he hung up.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. This is a Birmingham number from a private hospital located in worcester

Received email stating that I had an unpaid invoice from a company that I hadn't done business with in two years.

Number came up as Worcester, England and as I know nobody in England I am blocking this. Also, it cut off as I answered it.

New one on me, so goes to permanently blocked file.

Called from this number. Recorded message started "Her Majesties Revenue and Customs" I cut them off at that. Obviously a scam.

I am a solicitor. I received a call 28.7.17 at 11:33am about an accident I did not have soliciting that I in effect make a claim. The call is obviously deceit/fraudulent based, and based on weaving a fabrication to make false claims. When the caller realised I had both a brain and was honest they hang up before I could chew the callers head off metaphorically.
