You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud

Hi anyone who reads this regarding this nuisance number. I have just reported them to the ico (information commissioners office), google them, give them a call and report this number, when they get enough complaints they can take the company to court and fine them A LOT OF MONEY. Justice. They just need people to report them enough as evidence, they cannot work on individual cases.

This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. I hadn t read comments until I told a friend of mine i had been for a hearing test around 5 month ago, and he advised me to read them. To my amazement its the same company i had dealt with. Sonia was polite on the initial call when asking criteria questions and when i declined to confirm my d.o.b she was happy for me to confirm this on the day. Last week i collected a cheque for just over £5,900. These guys are just doing their job, we know endless calls can be a nightmare. Keep up the good work.
