After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Got a call on line 1 from the scammer (Asian male) who announce that my computer had problems!!! He was told in no uncertain terms to do something rather harmful to himself. This number called me again today, they did Not even leave a message. When I called the number back, an automated voice said "you were called today by talktalk, sorry we missed you, no matter we will en-devour to call you back later, bye!"

Supposedly from Microsoft. There was a problem with my hardware/software. They wanted me to turn on my computer and talk them through what was on the screen. Obviously a scam, not sure if it was for money or data, but I continued talking to them without giving any details until I had found my school whistle and then blew it down the phone (loudly) at them. I work in a large infants school, I have a good pair of lungs :-)

Googled number - came back company called LOANSPAN , bridging loan company. No one is ever at the other end of phone when you answer. Complete pain !!

I have never given this land line number out as I rarely use it for telephone calls and already have had scam callers pretending to be from microsoft trying to get me to switch computer on to defraud me.
