This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. Best advice is ignore the calls and just hang up as they often chase someone that hasn t been around for a long time. BUT if it is your debt remember they can be

Went to voicemail so only caught half the message as it was prerecorded, mentioned HMRC... Something about "registered under your name, press 1 and your call will be connected to the officer dealing with the case if you don't press on the warrant will be issued under your name and you will be arrested shortly." This number called our landline on a Saturday morning asking what make our computer was and which browser we used. He asked us to go to the computer to check something but we explained it wasn't next to our landline. The caller was extremely rude and told us we were wasting his time then hung up! I've seriously got better things to do on a Saturday morning than answer spam calls. I've no idea what he was trying to do to our computer or even who he was but please be careful if this number calls you.

Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.
