Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.

I received a call from this number telling me that had a call for me and that they were transferring me. I put the phone down quickly in case I would then be charged for the call.

Calls daily, and when I pick up, they just hang up.

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? A woman with an Indian accent who called herself Alysha-Trottman stole money from my account promising a loan that never materialised. Today a man who claimed Alysha-Trottman passed my loan application to him asked me to send £200 through money gram into their account upfront in order to get my loan. When I refused, he then showed his true colour by threatening to withdraw every penny in my account as he now has all my bank details. He said he s a scammers and laughed then hung up !

I spoke to George at Insure me online. He was actually very professional, and it was to do with a life insurance enquiry that I made online. I did tell him about me Googling his number as I didn t recognise it, and we had a bit a joke about why I would spend my time searching for his number, when it s so much easier to just pick up the phone. ...anyway, he seemed like a nice chap, so my advice to anyone else is just to pick up the phone and see what he has to say.

called at 8.45, as number not recognised allowed answer service to pick up - silence!
