Someone called me from this number this morning and I answered. He said that he was phoning in regard to a recent survey that had done with regard to debts and wanting to reduce the amount paying. He knew my name but did not introduce himself or who he was workingfor. As soon as I told him I had not filled any survey online he hung up. I tried to ring the number back but it went through to an Orange answerphone that message box was full.

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer. Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

Repeat calls regarding alleged motor accidents that simply haven t taken place. Repeat calls dispite being told in no uncertain terms to never call me again.

Recorded msg from Amazon stating that my Prime account would autorenew unless I pressed 1. I do not have a Prime account so obviously a scam.

I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???
