This number has called me numerous times over the past 3 or so days, including twice within 10 minutes of each other this morning! If you really want or need to speak to me, then leave a message on my answer machine, simple!! - these people will never leave a message and I will NEVER answer their harrassment calls on a number that I don t recognise. I have now blocked this number from ringing me any more.

Fraud The usual "Your BT internet and phone has been compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours" even though I'm not with BT. Followed up by wanting to download remote control access programmes on my laptop. I just feigned interest to leave them hanging on as long as possible; whilst they are hanging on waiting for me they aren't scamming somebody else.
Rings on average twice daily including weekends. When answered no one speaks but background noise suggests it is from a workplace.

Fraud fraud fraud. Do not call back on this number or give any details. My elderly parents received a call this morning. Lucky I was around and he claimed he was calling from virgin media in London. I then asked if he knew English and he said no. From here I released something ain t right. I immediately googled the number he gave and read the previous comment. If u are called do not take this seriously.
Number 01782146044 called me and said they were from my bank but did not say which bank because they would not have know which banks I deal with. The recorded message said that money £600 was going to disappear from my account within 15 minutes. I hung up the phone and blocked the number as it was obviously a spam call. I have about 6 similar calls over the last month or so from different numbers each time and I have blocked them all. Thankfully no money disappeared unexpectably from any account.

Ridiculous, very noisy in the background, insisted that he needed to speak to the business owner about our electricity. When i asked if it was a sales call, he said no, it's about a complaint from the national grid!! Rang to ask about outstanding debt in my name. I said I don t have any (second time I had spoken to them in the hour) and asked what the debt was. The man said that s what I m trying to find out. I said don t get cross and he called me a f-ing stupid idiot and hung up. Rude, aggressive and fake!
