This American male calls night after night to a business number and asks for a service that they offer, but then states that their situation is so top secret that they can't share what it is that they want. They then say suddenly that they have to go and they put the phone down. Initially withheld their number. Very odd behaviour and comes across as rather off balance. This is probably stalking/harassment, but it's to an unknown business.

Unknown automated female calling from 01618507546 - received an unsolicited telephone call from well spoken female voice (English accent) by recorded message at 10:25hrs 19/01/18 stating that 'HMRC are bringing a lawsuit against me and is going to sue me. Then asked to press “1” to speak to the officer dealing with the case. Reported to Action Fraud and blocked number
This number is becoming a dangerous nuisance. Surely these people know when they call us the number they call is into a direct Trauma Centre. Then to hang up and for a member of staff to use precious time trying to make a contact in case it may be life threatening is even more annoying. We can understand how the general public feel with some of these stupid UNLAWFUL calls from these people are made. I sometimes wonder if these are not generated from Government Departments as calling back is blocked by music

They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Carphone warehouse, seems to be their call center.

Got the same call today from an Indian woman called "Jennifer Janet" (like f*ck)stating I had viruses. She would fix them and also upgrade my internet service! (ha ha). I played along with her until she asked me to press certain buttons on my keyboard. I pretended to do so, and when she asked "what message is displayed", that is when I tore into her calling her a scamming Indian ****** and to f*ck off! she hung up!
