Received a call from these people every day for the last two months. I have blocked the number. Have never answered it.
Caller said I had a problem with my BT router. Caller was aggressive and English was not brilliant. Told caller they were scammers and put the phone down.

Ring at very anti social times of the day, quick talking Indian guys who have no idea how to say my name, rude when I refused to spare 1 minute to answer their questions, then put phone down. I’ve now started telling them I’m a private detective, an embalmer, at work in a call centre etc & it’s not convenient for me to talk, funnny they hang up. ... fed up of their calls ....

Fraud said they were to do with repairs. Lots of voices and noise in background. Asked if I was council housing association, when I told them they should know this, they started asking if I had reported damp, mould, cracked windows or any other jobs. I told them they should have that on the computer and to tell me which they are calling for... I got ok madam good day and they hung up. Sounded like they were calling from India not London as showing on screen.

A pestilent fake American accent telling me my Amazon Prime sub is to be renewed. I have no interest in Amazon Prime and find thius sort of intrusion completely unacceptable. Twice today so far. Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

I have stopped answering these suspicious calls for the time being - too busy. As with the one I received at the same time yesterday, when I was having breakfast, I concluded the caller was another criminal trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer so they could infect it. That is because the majority of the calls I get are of that nature. The likelihood was all the greater because, like yesterday s call, it was purportedly from an area where I do not know anyone.
Accident claims company. They woke me up. My phone. Which I pay for. Mine. Not a handy sales tool for them. They should be punished severely. Am reporting the to the ICO.
