Claiming to be BT Open reach and giving a false name Michael Willson??? with an foreign accent???? Said there was a problem with my internet connection. I asked for his details and when I asked for the phone number he told me to go to HELL!
Said they were calling from my insurance. Then proceeded to asked my about an accident I had last year. Have other numbers all from Manchester area.
I was called from this number. They were trying to tell me they could stop nuisance calls if I paid them money! Very persistent.
Bullshit congratulations call - DO NOT RETURN THE CALL. This scam is now reported to Ofcom (for what that is worth!)

Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.
