Called on the half hour (which is a dead giveaway for cold callers) - not payign attention so I hung up. Why do they do it? Wasting my time as well as theirs and I m not likely to answer a second time am I?? (barred call)

I have received so many calls from those people. I have once spoke with a woman, I told her to stop bothering me, she says "OK, you want be called anymore". Few days ago I got a call from the same people, this time was an Indian guy. Then a guy answered from CARS and said hello and asked for the first line of my address. I asked who the company was and why they needed my address. He said it was for security. This number appeared on my mobile as a forwarded call. I don’t have any calls forwarded to my mobile. This made me suspicious straight away. I didn’t answer the call. Apparently it is a loft insulation scam. They are after your details.

He told me to f@@k off and called singing down the line 8 times in a row till he cut off I hate answering my home phone or my mobile as they call both.

They told me they work together with UK company called Green Energy UK. I contacted Green Energy UK and in fact they do not corporate with anyone. I was offered to meet and talk about benefits of having solar panels, but I doubt I go because they were already lying to me about their corporation.

Very persistent if they don t get a response. Try to call at all times of the day,evening and weekends. Either block the number, or answer to get rid of them. If you don t the phone will keep ringing. I have a truecall unit (from www truecall. co uk) so these harrassers simply get a messsage not to call again. Shouldnt have to pay money to stop these calls though in my opinion.
