It's a company called G11. Phoned asking to speak with 'Accounts Payable' relating to an invoice. Asked for invoice number, caller hung up. G11 are an international payments company trying to deceive their way into the company through false claims.

Young Asian lady, claiming to be from Microsoft and saying my computer had been compromised. When I challenged her and suggested it was a scam , she said that Microsoft would shut down my computer at 3 pm today!

I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently - 1494957974 and 1494957975, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... This number has been phoning my mobile over the past few weeks and asking for Valerie Pritchard - THIS IS NOT ME. I have told them politely that it is not her mobile number. This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
