Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.

Actually the call but not to stand directly in front of the door and collect donations for the Red Cross. It is not easy to remain admissible in such a subject and to say no.
As other commenters have already said, asian accented callers who leave "background noise" messages on my answer-phone. Don t bother phoning them back. It’s calling me every single day for about a week and is very annoying i don’t answer to the calls and even block a lot of them but they call me again and again from different numbers so it a big chance to be a scam so avoid those numbers
Same Indian scammers who have been harassing me for 4yrs now using 100s of different numbers (VOIP) and these are relentless they will not stop and I’ve asked them enough times, utter lowlife (insert word)
