On some phones you can block the numbers, I have an iPhone 5s and it s very handy being able to block these pests. Iv had 30+ calls from different numbers the past few weeks too! of which I just keep blocking. Iv answers a few times and one guy was so nasty after I politely asked him to stop calling.. He was unbelievably rude and threatening!

Called from a noisy call centre. Introduced themselves from black pearl claims. Company registered in leeds kept them on the line the wanted to know my address DOB and if i had any loans.
Had this number call me today. Dualling code seems to be the Midlands. I don?t know anyone there.

SCAM Automated message said it was Inland Revenue and that I hadn't paid my taxes. To avoid a court date and possible jail time press 1 to speak to an agent. A trace says the number originates in Russia. No chance I believe any of that rubbish.

This number was given to me by Visa Card Scammers, when I questioned the quality of the call. They asked for my bank sort code, (I gave them one that I knew from Coventry) Then in an effort to prove they were legit, proceeded to tell me where my bank was. This scam revolves around a supposed transaction from your bank card. Never tell these guys any real information.

Threatening call with Automated American voice claiming to be from HMRC/inland revenue...apparently either me or my solicitor need to call back on this number to speak to a lady called Linda Baker or “face the legal consequences!!” VILE fear mongering at its best...I won’t be calling back...number blocked!!

SCAM: 07770 034516 is a recorded message claiming to be from the National Crime Unit & that your National Insurance number has been suspended & that you need to click 1. Like other similar scams it is an attempt to scare individuals into giving personal & financial details over the phone.
Repeat calls regarding alleged motor accidents that simply haven t taken place. Repeat calls dispite being told in no uncertain terms to never call me again.

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. Very abrupt chap called Charles said he was from Domestic Appliances and would not let me get a word in edgeways. He said my appliances were no longer covered as my insurance had run out. I asked him which appliance had recently lapsed insurance - he wouldn't answer just said "are all your appliances in working order. I said I already had appliance cover - he put the phone down.

Pre-recorded message claiming to be from bank saying there had been two suspicious transactions and giving options to press 1 or 2, depending on what response mine was. Voice was good RP English.
