Phone rang at approx 7.30pm Sat 25 Oct 2014. Answered and said "Hello". An Asian woman asked for me by name, but there was a lot of noise in the background so immediately made me think that this was wrong. Another marketing life insurance sales call.
SCAM - well I hope it's a scam, it seemed to be a recorded message, claiming to be from HMRC and there was a warrant against my name (which was not given) and that I should press 1 immediately, otherwise I would be arrested shortly. Needles to say I did not press 1 and 3 hours later I am still a free man.... I believe it was a scam call that if I pressed 1 a virus would download to my phone. If my situation changes I will send an update. BEWARE.

SCAM - OFCOM Internet Conection Called pretending to be OFCOM with a convincing sounding recorded message from a very nice lady that my internet connection had been hacked and would terminate in 24hrs. Then requested I press "1" to resolve the situation. Absolute scam - the number is local to Solihull and is unobtainable if dialled. Delete and block immediately !!!
