An Asian gentleman said he was from talk talk and needed to check my router. Asked for access to my PC which I reluctantly gave as he was able to give me part of my address and my talk talk account number. Offered me a refund of ?200 but I needed to access my bank account. He had control of my PC so I did not want to do this. Hung up on him as he was too persistent for comfort!!!

why go to the trouble of phoning me, asking for me by name, then when I confirm it is me, just put the phone down??? so odd

If you use an insurance comparison site, they will pass your number on to The Claims Guys, who will pester you with calls about reclaiming PPI payments. Use this number on the comparison site to give them a taste of their own medicine, and prevent them from ringing you.

These people keep calling me but when i speak they do not seem to hear me. I ve now got caller ID and will not answer them again. They are ringing at least twice every day but i think the delay means that they are not in this country. Really really annoying. I am planning to call Pet Plans head office on Monday and complain.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. Call received from this number 12 March. Recorded message in American accent reporting to be Amazon stating an order had been placed for over £300 and if I hadn t placed it...
