They said their number was 02032867657. They tried to get me to run something on my computer but I declined. They asked me to run something else to confirm my customer number and I declined again. They said if I didn't comply there'd be a court action against me but I still declined. When they rang off I rang BT straightaway and they confirmed it was not them and they said they would never ask for such a thing.

This number phoned today. Was an automated phone call saying they were phoning from my credit card after it was used on Amazon and Western Union. . Though I used to work in fraud and security. I can assure you when fraud from the bank phone you they do not use a automated robot to do it. Also they do not give you details of the transactions involved they ask you to check your account and confirm irregular payment going in or out. . Whoever this company are, they have purchased a VERY old database of numbers - they keep asking for the person who was previously assigned my landline number, who has since passed away. When questioned, they hung up. Next time they ring, they'll get the "very loud whistle" treatment !!!!

Absolute scum! He told me I'd had an accident so I asked him to give me the details. He wouldn't tell and just said it wasn't a difficult question to answer. I told him not to get cheeky with me but he carried on. I said he was wasting my time and he asked me why!!! I told him to take my number off the system or I would go to OFCOM and he got very rude and hung up. I get a lot of junk calls but this guy was seriously offensive.
