As stated by Max above - The caller said he was calling from British Gas and said they have had technical issues and they need my electricity meter numbers. I work in the energy industry and I am aware they can access this via the national electricity database (ECOES) - as my supplier they are fully entitled to use this. I challenged him and he continued to give excuses. I then terminated the call.

Accident chasing call. The telephone number has, I think, been rejigged by a tech company to protect the workforce . Well, it certainly doesn t protect us!

I just got called from this number, but a guy called Jesse. He asked me about my degree "cos he's studying the same at Bham uni" and how Ive done in my professional life since being a student there. He asked me for advice on how to make it in life... At the end of the call, he seemed to be reading a text on the difficulties of your students nowadays, and finally asked me for a regular donation of 15 pounds. I said no. He offered to send me an email,and I said he could write, but not

said they were from talk-talk and have a problem with my router but got the name wrong.Just hung up.

I got a message from this number 07860021363 that named me by my name claiming that for my accident they could get me my money back quickly. I got a car accident 3 years ago and since then I am quite often getting messages like this. SPAM ! Don t trust them !!

I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???
