Scam call re Amazon Prime

When answered, caller said that they just want to ask me four quick household questions. They did say their company name, but I didn t catch it. I replied "no thank you" and I hung up.

Reports on other sites suggest it s a survey / data collection company, possibly called "I love my offers".

He claimed to be an investigator from the HNRC who was investigating tax fraud under my name. I told him that he was wasting my time and tax payers money as the claims are unfounded.

Calls a couple of days every week. Several times at once. I have caller display so I don t answer numbers like this 08443760105 How s this harassment legal. here is evidently another round of these tiresome calls, claiming to be from a law firm , regarding an alleged minor car accident. From the accent, it is probably from the Sub-Continent and clearly rather sadly fraudulent. Ignore all protestations to the contrary.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . Calling about accident I never had.

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.

They phoned my mobile and left no message. When I called back later, a message said something like "There was a problem connecting your call" Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
