Today I got a call of this number. I was to late and could not answer. But the caller left a message. "start your claim now by pressing 1" I hung up. I don´t want to pay for it. Be careful cost trap!

Called asked to confirm my addrsss to which I refused and she said is it “previous address” when I said no she pressured to for my address and then asked who I bank with. Hung up. Very politely spoken female, very dangerous for vulnerable people AVOID at all cost

My 81 year old father was tricked into setting up a direct debit for his 4 year old Indecit. (June 2016)He realised the day after he was covered by another policy, so he cancelled the direct debit at the bank and wrote a letter to Appliance Serve as well as calling them by phone. A man said no problem he would sort it. July 2016 - he is getting reminders about a missed payment and a telephone call threatening court action! Bring it on!! #fraudsters

I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. Pre-recorded message claiming to be from BT but not sure why a British company would use someone ( or voice generation software) with a mid-Atlantic accent to deliver a message to a UK-based customer. Some rubbish about disconnecting my Internet if I don t follow instructions which, undoubtedly, would involve me in racking-up a huge phone bill, i.e. if press either 1 or 2 as instructed. I hung-up. Definitely a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Ignore it or block the number on your phone. Refer ...
