The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I got call from this number about accidental claim for an accident I have in last 2 years which I was not aware of.

Message left on my answerphone when I did not answer was just a lot of background chatter. Sounded like an open line in a call centre.

This number has bombarded me with calls for 2 days now - they are trying to get people to switch gas and electricity companies. When I asked them to remove my number they got aggressive. BLOCKED!

Missed a call from them. I returned it, and they hung up on me. Looks like a bunch of spammers.
