These guys tricked my 89 year old mother with dementia into buying their "services" on 12 August 2016. I only found out when they called again six days later and spoke to me by mistake. A recorded voice saying it’s from HMRC and there was a case of tax fraud linked to me. If I didn’t press 1 they were issuing a warrant.
Caller with heavy Indian accent claimed to be calling from Amazon to tell me that a gift card had been purchased on my account for £49. When I didn't react as expected they hung up.

This number is from a nuisance caller. Calls are usually silent, or hang up as soon as you answer. There have been many complaints about this number - one person had 35 calls in one day. When they do answer they fish for information about you without explaining what they need the info for. Don t give them the time of day - just hang up
