This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. Fraud - claiming to be the HMRC, stating there’s a warrant out for my arrest and that I need to press 1. Like hell. These people need to be hung up by their short and curlies. Hate them with a passion. Unscrupulous beyond words. No backbone whatsoever. Scum. They’re no good for shit.
Claimed to be phoning in respect of an accident 2 years ago. When asked which company they were he said he was not calling from a company but from the Claims Team that works with a lot of insurers. Asked him who paid his wages. Eventually he hung up. Scam from top to bottom.
