25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.
Scam loan company. Said i had been approved by them for a £5000 loan. All i had to do was pay the first £105 upfront and the funds would be transferred immediatly. The only was they said they could take the payment was from a ukash voucher. Straight away sent alarm bella ringing. I would advise anyone to ignore this number.
