Call from a lady trying to get £249 out of me for an anti bullying campaign I had allegedly signed up to last year. She was very convincing and said I'd receive a thank you pack and what school would I like the bullying pack to be sent to. I told her I had no recollection of ever agreeing to sponsor such a thing. She gave me a web address of www.thepreventioncentre.org which shows they are legit...no such website exists, just websites that suggest this is a scam. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS!

Fraud/Scam Supposedly HMRC have issued a warrant for my arrest and for me to press 1 on the keypad to speak to someone. Robotic voice just reading some low life's script and then once complete it waits for you to do something and if you do nothing i.e. press 1, it hangs up.

Asian accented guy called claimed to be from Virgin Media. Problem with my internet connection. Press the Windows key and type in certain things he'd show me and then fix it. I strung him along for a while. Supervisor tried the same. When I refused he said my internet connection would be switched off. I enjoyed our chat as while he was talking to me he couldn't be trying to con anyone else. He told me to f*** off. That confirmed he wasn't from Virgin as they don't usually end calls like that!

Asked me if i used tv shopping channels.Then asked if I had bought anything in the last 6 months from qvc.Or he may have said bid tv,but thought it was qvc although research leads me to believe the same people regularly say its from bidtv. i got a really rude phone call today buy this asian guy I said to stop calling he said f.ck you b.tch. Rang this number and it turns out to be back on track loans. Made a complaint and obviously nothing will be done. Im sure i am not the only one who has made complaints else there wouldnt be 50 comments below. Best thing to do is block their number.
