Just received a message to ring this number. Supposedly to contact Dennis Grey from HMRC. If they don't hear from me or my solicitor I will have to face the legal consequences!
SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. He same recorded American Male voice started talking, saying he was someone calling from HMRC to discuss a case with me, and to call him back before "the lawsuit" against me went to "local county court". I have no knowledge of any case against me - the American terms & r
1st had a text sent to my land-line late last night, saying thank-you for going with Action direct PPI, I ignored it thinking it was a wrong number & I d not had any contact with this company. Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

Got a call. Tried to answer but call was terminated. nI called back but network message said that this was an incorrect number. nIn other words: scam!!

SPAM - Recorded message about internet disconnection.
Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.

Scam caller - claimed to be from Virgin. I kept them on the line for a while then when I told them I was aware they were a scammer they immediately became very abusive. Vulnerable people could be taken in.

This number 0131287730809 identifies it as Amazon Prime Membership renewal. It then offers 'press one' to cancel the membership. I use Amazon, but I'm not a Prime member so I pressed one to cancel. A foreign gentleman answered and I told him that I hadn't joined Prime and to return my money. After a few minuets of him saying he will send a refund form for me to fill in my details I declined he got abusive and went on repeat " I like F......g your daughter every night you A.....e, to which I hung up
Called about an accident, don t know how they got my details. Registered for TPS still called anyway
