Automated message telling me my number had been compromised at the border with Wales (I'm in Scotland!) and to 'press 1' so that don't take legal action against me and my national insurance number. How they propose to get my national insurance number from my phone number is beyond me! Needless to say, I didn't press 1!!

Like the people above, person - a man on first occasion, woman second, couldn t understand what they were saying except they were going to refund PPI. Told them it sounded odd and if they give me a number I ll check it out and get back to them and they put the phone down. Second time I was told to lie about a loan I had not taken out to a different department. They knew my name and address. Not happy.

Search for an app on your app store called "Blacklist" (There s a few to choose from) It s free and I use it to block all of these nuisance calls and texts. Received a call from this company who asked me to confirm personal details so that they could process a claim for personal injury I was entitled to despite not being injured. When pressed to reveal from whom they obtained my details and pointed out the potential fraudulent nature of their practices the caller hung up
