Supposedly we have been involved in a motor accident and injured. Rubbish: it s an unwanted con - a fishing expedition for whiplash claim.

I had a "hang up" call today at 13.08. I am signed up to the TPS but this doesn't seem to help.

Had a call asking for me by name, said that they had got my PPI back for me. They know the bank that I had dealt & asked if I had a account with them now, told them no had new one, they asked which, I told them the first one that came into my head. Asked what type I said saving one, asked about insurance, said don t want any. They put phone done.

Same call.. ringing "about your recent accident" - Told him I'd not had one and that he was a "scammer" and put phone down!

Some guy called "David" says he s phoning from the tax office with a rebate of ?3250, that the courier is waiting to deliver it to you once you confirm you can take delivery. Told him I thought he was a scammer, tax rebates do not come in this way!! And told where I thought he could go and place his head. Total scammers - beware!

This number keeps silent calling me . If i do pick up they hang up and when you call it back you get a number not known tone

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. Got a call from this number through TU Go app at precisely the same time as a call from a PPI company through my phone (which I didn t answer either) from 01792 211847 a PPI number. Are they linked?
