Got a call from this number through TU Go app at precisely the same time as a call from a PPI company through my phone (which I didn t answer either) from 01792 211847 a PPI number. Are they linked?

Be ware of Company ‘’ Internet Media Experts’’ is claiming that they have made a contract with NHS trust for promotions of local services by advertising them through NHS intranet. I also fell prey to this company and never received any customer from them. Despite my repeated request to them for cancellation of contract the never cancelled and kept on deducting the money off my account. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number. They rang yesterday at 6.30pm and today at 10.45am, no message was left. In the unlikely event that the call was from Talk Talk, I have never dealt with that company, so they would have no legitimate reason to ring me.

This is the barclaycard team calling about late payments or exceeded credit card limit. If you don t have a barclaycard, somebody has used your number so that they don t get these calls themselves.
This number has rung me several times during the day in the last week or so, as I am unable to answer my mobile at work, I have not spoken to the caller but on looking up the number I m pleased that I haven t.

So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).
