This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I would urge anyone who has a Talktalk package to make a note of this number. The 0870 number they give you is to a foreign call centre. I have made a complaint to them and demanded a UK number to call, and this is it.

He also said he was working on behalf of some governement initiative. When I asked him how he got the number, he was evasive at first but once he realised that I wasn t going to cave, he just hung up.
