SCAM Says "Internationasl call from your service provider......................."

Asian-sounding male, calling himself Mr. W., asking to speak to my brother. Asked if washing machine was alright. We recently had dishwasher repaired, so I thought call was genuine (insurers). Then asked if I was over 35. I said that was irrelevant. He persisted with question, becoming aggressive in tone. I persisted with my answer. When he asked for my postcode and name I hung up.

Insurance claim

Had calls from this number several times recently but just a click as though phone being put down and no-one there when answered. Tried calling back but hear click again and number appears dead after that!

Receive a call from 01684261747 on 01/11/2018 saying it was British Telecom and thay my phone line would be terminated in the next 24 hrs. I am not with BT. I hung up and added number to list of barred numbers.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers - unclaimed

The girl called 'Kate' mentioned my business name and said she found me via facebook. There was a lot of background noise. Sounded like a call centre but can't be sure. I was cagey on the phone as I was not expecting the call and unfortunately am very aware of prank calls. But with caller ID showing as a mobile number I take the call as it could be prospective business. She picked up on this and started talking nonsense about not forcing me to do a bungy jump. Scam, text message appearing to be Halifax

SCAM first said my computer has been hacked. When I said I didn’t have a computer they said it was my mobile that was hacked and they we’re going to disconnect my phone so I told them to do it. Surprise nothing happened.

Calls 2-3 times a day, never answered . Internet says it's silent when answered anyway.

Asking to speak to someone about a no fault accident

SCAM An automated voice answered saying there's been an arrest warrant put out for my arrest due to tax evasion, which is blatantly nonsense. Hang straight up.

They say they are from TalkTalk and want to access my computer to rectify a fault on my router. I contacted TalkTalk and it's definitely not from them. They also offered me a £125 credit. Total scam!!

Selling broadband

Will ring but allows to transfer to answerphone, but no message left. some noise in background - possibly an office environment. Rang about six times today.
