I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

SCAM: Third identical call today. Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT, who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this.

Same as 01367114033. Lady calling herself Paige Peters called me from Crawley, England out of the blue at around 5.30pm. Said she was with the Road Traffic Accidents Department and had information that I had been in an accident. When Iasked who she was and which organisation she called from she just repeated the above line. Kept asking for information about the accident until I hung up on her after a few seconds.

Fraud Stated they were from Virgin Media and they were cutting my internet off in 2 hours. The conversation got very sweary from my end, before hanging up. Be warned that this scam used to be robotic automated voice, but they are using a human now, albeit a subspecies who have not developed ethics quite yet.

Bank/Lonas

Claimed to be my bank fraud dept (didn't specify the Bank). They stopped a fraudulent payment to Western Union. Press 1 to speak to an operative. No specific details so the call deemed to be a scam.

Fraud, cyberbully call. Number has been traced to Meabh Corish or Meabh Smedley Corish in Buckhurst Hill

02072873745 call advising me that a criminal had been started against me for tax evasion !

SCAM. Call received at around 21:30 hours. Caller asked to speak with me by first name. I did not confirm whether I was the person required, but asked who was calling. She did not answer but repeated her question. When I asked again who was calling, the young sounding woman said 'I'm from Virgin.' I then asked what she wanted with the person for whom she had called and she hung up. A bit later I called the number back and the same woman answered with 'hello!' Definitely not from Virgin. Scammer.

Scam, robot says its hmrc and to press 1 to be connected else you will have a warrent issued against you and be arrested. Indian sounding waiting line, badly recorded. Indian dude answering on phone answered to hmrc how can I help you. Fake. Avoid.
