tried asking nicely to remove us from their list for months they ve recently persisted so i blocked their number in our system, they kept leaving voicemails instead... so finally today I have reported them to every authority going (including ofcom) and called them to inform them that if we receive any further communications from them, legal proceedings will begin immediately. i advise you report them to ofcom too - multiple reports about the same company will eventually work to get them shut down a

SCAM. Woman with strong Asian (sounded Indian) accent purporting to be calling from Microsoft informing me of urgent high risk to my computer etc---. I hung up and on checking discovered the number to belong to A&M Todd, a flooring company in Burnley.

SCAM: I think it must be a scam number because he said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse which has since disbanded. he jumped in with another 'even better offer' before I'd even rejected the 1st offer. I didn't get a chance to reject any offer though as they spoke so fast with a thick accent, that I couldn't understand what was being said. I then asked him to repeat & he said 'bye' & hung up... I am sure this is a scam, its a Virgin mobile number advising it was from Fedex, "sorry we missed you" and leaving a link for me to re arrange delivery. I think not ...........

It s AirBnB. You can attach the internal messaging system to text your phone when someone responds to a message etc. AirBnB use several different numbers to do this. This is one of them.

Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

The caller mentioned a number of lapses in my website which they could fix as part of their ?400 package, including Google ranking etc. Rather than taking her word for it, I tested these so called lapses on a friend s mobile device which contradicted everything she was saying. The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. They have been reported to Trading Standards and to the Police.
Typical **** auto recorded message about debt consolidation preying on the financially reckless, vulnerable and so on - as if anyone in this world would be stupid enough to sign up to anything with no prior knowledge on a cold call. If you see this number disconnect or let it ring out, nothing to be gained.
