SCAM / SPAM A face automated call alleging they are from Amazon and asking you to press 1 to speak to an account manager. Obviously a fake as I don't have an Amazon account and even if I did I wouldn't have give out this phone number.

Called to tell me my PC was malfunctioning told him he was a con man.
I am getting regular silent calls from this number even though I am registered with the TPS. I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. Accident claims experts ...according to their records I had a road accident 2 years ago which left me unable to work!?! Told them I hadn t but if they insist on numerous phone calls to tell me then feel free to send me the compo cheque as I could do with the dosh, at which point they became quite abusive and hung up.
