Constant calling multiple times a day for several weeks now
01482596113 is apparently a funeral plan sales call. They got my number from an illegal downloading site. I wonder why they use such a site for marketing purposes. Don t they know that they could be prosecuted for aid & abetting fraud, theft & money laundering?
SPAM, My house Phone has now rung 3 times this morning, Saturday, was still in bed for the first 2 which were both before 9am, so no idea what the first numer was, second was 01692617827, neither of the first 2 left a message, despite having an answer machine, the third number was this one, called at 9:54, which I picked up as soon as it rang, as I was right next to the phone, said hello, twice, no reply, then it rang off.
This number called me and said my card had been used twice, first for £500, than the second for £1000 with Amazon. Obviously a scam.

Called various numbers in our office. Hung up quickly when asked who they were calling for. Scammers,and useless scammers at that.

This number is given as the "customer services" number on a fake eBay email. The email is for a high value item that has supposedly just been purchased on my account and to call customer services if there's an issue. I do not have an eBay account associated with the email address I received the email on. Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.
