Someone called me to try ask some details of a csr accodent and wondered if I am indeed involved fishing bullshit!!!

Not a scam. Co-Op Bank, customer service centre. Asking if I wanted to upgrade my account - reasonable call, been meaning to anyway.

I was told he was not trying to sell me anything. It was the third stage in government scheme first wall insulation then loft and now grants for windows. It s a scam. Told them to sod off...but they still ring.

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

why do people keep calling? checking the number we get some lawyer in Enfield looking for clients to scam.

Had a number of calls from this number. Very clever how they manage to use my local area code so it looks like a safe call to answer. When I tried to call back it just went thro...

When I answered, a recorded message said they were able to advise on how to wipe up to 70% of debt "just press 5 to be connected" .... I hung up !

Spam. It is a company enquiring about the accident i have had in the past 2 years.

there is no one on the other end of the phone and when I try to call it back it tells me the number has not been recognized.

involved in accident, blah, blah, blah, then hung out when I aid I haven t.

Several calls,no message checked em out via business friend,dont even bother talking to them,and never ring them back dodgy,do not give any info if persistant inform police block calls as dodgy best bet

Missed call from this number. Don’t live or work in London so not sure why trying to contact me. Don’t intend to answer if ring again. Suspect a SCAM?

A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to a company called Steel Plus 1, based in Romford, Essex.

Sounded like a call centre when I amswered my phone as very loud in the background. Caller was also in the middle of a conversation when I answereed.
