Calling several times a day and leaving voicemails about my home energy supply. I swear every time I open my phone I have a voicemail.

I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. We re not really allowed to speak with other adults on my high security wing and by constantly calling me, there s a risk that my handset will be discovered. This is the number of PGC, an executive search firm (headhunters). Not a scam. Safe to callback - and probably a good idea to do so.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.

I ve been getting several calls a day not just from this number, but from others, too - or sometimes they come up as "unavailable" or "international". All of them are from people with an Indian accent saying that they are calling to fix a problem with my PC and quickly become very rude when questioned. I have an answerphone, so have now stopped picking up. This is obviously some kind of scam

Supposedly we have been involved in a motor accident and injured. Rubbish: it s an unwanted con - a fishing expedition for whiplash claim.

hannah called my mobile, told me she had been told I had been in an accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her where she had got my number from, she said the road traffic accident department (!!). I then confused her tremendously by repeating my question and call ended. I m on TPS. Suspect it s an automated number generator and as others have said, that Hannah is a machine not a person...
