It was from someone telling me that my National Insurance number was compromised and I was going to be arrested. Obviously a scam
SCAM:Indian sounding man asked for me by name, had my address & post code. Asked where he had got this info., and that it was all total rubbish. He said that my washing machine warranty had run out. I told him he didn’t know what washing machine I have and I don’t have a warranty on it anyway. He then changed tack and tried flattery, saying that I had a lovely face.
