Was called by an aggressive man who knew my address and told me they were sending me a cheque for £3500.00 for the discomfort I suffered in a recent car accident. Claimed to be doing market research on behalf of banking industry. Told the young lady very politely that I don't do market research over the phone. As I have just returned home from a long stay in hospital, I found this call quite distressing.

Got a phone call at 8pm tonight by a well spoken English man. He knew my name, bank and telephone number. Claimed to be calling to ask me questions about my bank. Told him to call me back and hung up. Blocked the number and contacted by bank.
