Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. Received a call from this company who asked me to confirm personal details so that they could process a claim for personal injury I was entitled to despite not being injured. When pressed to reveal from whom they obtained my details and pointed out the potential fraudulent nature of their practices the caller hung up

If you have a call blocker phone, just block the number. They ll still call but it won t ring and disturb your day (or temper!).

hilarious-sounding company name - something about pensions when I m in completely the wrong demographic. laughed at the company name and she put the phone down. easy.

Caller claimed to be from Proficient Helpline and said that they d been informed that I had been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Hung up when I told them I hadn t.
