28 Oct 2021 - Thick sub continent accent called himself Kevin and was asking about loans and credit cards. Claimed he was from a debt solutions agency. Kept him talking for about ten mins feeding him misinformation and asking him about his fav songs and told him I was gonna get concrete socks from a loan shark if he didn’t help me today. Another "we hear you ve had an accident that wasn t your fault" waste of time.

This is debt collectors calling me for a female who lived in my house before I bought it. They call usually twice a day 5 days a week. They will not listen, so the call does now not get answered, bad mannered Scots who look like they are looking for an argument. I gave them the last known address for the female they are looking for but they were only interested in shouting me down.

Like many others, very rarely get calls to my landline. When I do, it s always Indians telling me I ve been in a car accident. I usually go along with it for giggles. I have yet to figure out exactly what they expect to scam from you. This time though it was a lady and I could hear multiple men in the background saying the same thing she was saying to me, to other people. I recommend making up elaborate stories for your own entertainment if you re not annoyed by these people yet.

Rang my mother . Knew all her details. Pretended to be British Gas and said if she paid 199.99 now she would save money. They even knew her BG home service plan was up for renewal soon. He was so polite and convincing, she gave her bank card details. Luckily Nationwide have done a visa dispute and refunded her. We have phoned trading standards, British gas . Written a cancellation letter to so called company. This needs to go to Watchdog.
