Adam - with an Indian accent called to speak to the business owner regarding the gas and electricity bills. I asked f it was a sales call, he responded yes madam it is . I asked him why he was contacting us as we are registered with TPS. He promptly hung up.

Phoned out blue, saying following up a previous enquiry I’d made once about investments. Said not a sales call but called themselves ?BT Marketing? I’m currently looki at investments. So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).

This number has called a number of times in the last two weeks. When answered, it is an automated voice purporting to be BT, which states that our internet will be disconnected today and offering two return call options which I am fairly sure are cost traps. We don t have BT internet. On hanging up, I called the number back and it rang but was not answered.

I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! They just called again even though I blocked their number. When I first answered weeks ago, they immediately ended the call. I m worried it s some kind of scam.

This number is very active in harassing people at the moment. Saw on Scottish Power Twitter today customer complaint of this no. SP replied to DM Scottish Power with their number and they would remove from dialar. S P s admission it s their number ! Will S P remove their number ? They phoned twice Fri 10/10/14. First call I answered but the line was dead i.e. Silent call. Second time I ignored in then 1471 said it was 01702 318818. Like "fed up" below when I rang it was a short message saying they were Independent Market Research then the call was cut off. Complained to FCO but they say there is nothing they can do at the moment.

fed up of these scammers, told me I had a problem with my computer, I asked him if he thought I was stupid because there is nothing wrong with my computer, he replied no you can believe it with your own eyes,told him he was a scammer and to f.off and I put the phone down really fed up of these calls don t usually answer them,but I was waiting for a phone call and didn t have my specs on... something should be done about these scumbags
