Another financial company, this time asking about pensions. He mentioned the FSA a lot and new legislation coming in regarding admin fees. He sounded very plausible and asked what companies I had pensions with. I told him I wasn t interested and eventually, he ended the call. Blocked this contact now on my iPhone.
Two calls today. Rings about four times then disconnects. No idea who it is.

Call was silent but when I tried to call it gave a message saying this company does not do outbound calling so if you ve had a call it s probably being misused so report it to the information commissioners office ...so I just did"! Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.
They phoned twice Fri 10/10/14. First call I answered but the line was dead i.e. Silent call. Second time I ignored in then 1471 said it was 01702 318818. Like "fed up" below when I rang it was a short message saying they were Independent Market Research then the call was cut off. Complained to FCO but they say there is nothing they can do at the moment.
