Just received a call giving my sons name. telling me he was service department from my service provider. Asked what company he said BT. As I dont have BT I told him I was not a BT customer, He called me a lie'er and proceded to give me abuse
Caller ID said it was Gourmet Burger however the person that spoke sounded like they were in a call centre reading off a script. When I asked them to repeat what they had said they hung up.

I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

phoned claiming my line was hacked, i asked for confirmation of isp since i dont trust the number and searching it shown nothing, heavy indian accent with hellish loud background noise blocked them when they couldn t answer

It s AirBnB. You can attach the internal messaging system to text your phone when someone responds to a message etc. AirBnB use several different numbers to do this. This is one of them.

SCAM. Logged as a scam call because I do not know anyone in the Scottish location that the caller is logged and they did not leave a message. Rings true of most scam calls which seem endless.
Got a random voice message, can't even tell what it says because it's so muffled, I think I heard my name in the message which is a little creepy and makes me uncertain if it's important or something

Rang at 0920. Recorded message claiming to be Amazon. "You have paid £399 for an iPhone 7. If you did not order this item please press 1" Maybe not verbatim but you get the gist.
They ve been spamming our number with an automated caller for weeks, eventually got through to speak to a person and asked them to remove me but the call is unsolicited.
