Called twice and never spoke

Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

I was asked to call the number for a validity check. Number rings and then when answered goes quiet. My number is withheld, so that s why they will not talk. These are Agents, probably working for Energy Consultants. The prices they get for you will include a significant commission. They will lie and harass you into agreeing contracts. My advise, negotiate your own Energy deals directly. It is far far cheaper. By calling the Supplier directly, you are not paying some conmen for doing nothing more th

Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Based on previous comments, highly likely to be a telemarketer or scam. Attempting to call back gives a warning about it being a non-UK number with increased call costs.

This company seems to be a telemarketer for ppi claims. They are using a list containing contact details without direct consent from the recipient. I self registered my details as a saleable commodity With a prohibitive high cost for non authorised use for commercial gain. I have now invoiced them for this amount. Lets see what they do now!
