I was not sure of the call so I asked her to call me back once I have checked my account online (by logging in the scottish power web site with my details... I was not late, only had a bill issued 2 days ago for a very smaller amount that what she was after... BE CAREFUL!

I just received a call from this number with a recorded message which stated that the caller was from HMRC and that a tax fraud case had been reported against my name (but did not say my name) and if I did not press 1 immediately, a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I didn t answer but then called the number back and was greeted by a recorded message with an American accent asking me not to hang up because my call is very important to them .
