Called by this number, I answer they don’t speak. I call back and get absused. I am registered for TPS but it doea nothing to block these ignorant call centre jobsworths. I then get told by some lad I wouldn’t speak to him how inwasnif I met him in person! Threatening, abusive, nuisance making wide boys.

Fraud. Pretending to call from HMRC. Didn't know my name. Told them if they're calling from HMRC the least they should know is my name. Call was supposedly from Liverpool too, not a Liverpudlian accent to be heard.

Young Asian lady, claiming to be from Microsoft and saying my computer had been compromised. When I challenged her and suggested it was a scam , she said that Microsoft would shut down my computer at 3 pm today!

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

I was called this am on my mobile. Delay in connection. Caller purported to be from EE and offered me a special promotion from EE of40% off a new phone. Sounds like a scam to me.

Said they were making a follow up call regarding an accident I had. I informed them I have not had an accident and not to call again. I have now blocked the number.

Nuisance call

Rang four times a day for the last few days. Rang the number back after coming up clear on google. Got automated message saying I was rang by 1st Call Group. The number is a Manchester number but based in South Africa, which is suspicious to start with. Looking at their client list on their website, includes many PPI companies, Ambulance chasers, and other undesirables.

Thieves that subscribe you to premium rate texts without your knowledge or permission then give this fake number to unsubscribe. Calling is pointless...a recorded message asks for your number and a message then hangs up. Charges continue to rack up. I had to call my network to block 3rd party charging. Contact psaauthority.org.uk to complain so they can be dealt with.

Asian-sounding male, calling himself Mr. W., asking to speak to my brother. Asked if washing machine was alright. We recently had dishwasher repaired, so I thought call was genuine (insurers). Then asked if I was over 35. I said that was irrelevant. He persisted with question, becoming aggressive in tone. I persisted with my answer. When he asked for my postcode and name I hung up.
