Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. Rang for a couple of seconds and then hung up. Didn t attempt to call back as I m sure it is some kind of scam.

Called me three times in one afternoon, very annoying. I didn’t recognise the number and didn’t answer the calls.

Apparently a market research company based in Ashford, Kent. When I have to give my phone number to a company (bank, etc) I don t expect it to be passed to ANYONE - even a company doing research for whoever I gave my number to. I especially hate being called at 1900 - 2100 hrs and the phone not ringing long enough for me to answer it, even if I wanted to. Especially annoying if I m actually expecting someone to call and then the phone goes dead . Don t need this harassment at my age.

Industrial Hearing Clinic: Their records (allegedly from the Industrial Society)show that I worked in a factory for more than 5 years & as my employer didn t provide ear protectors, I m entitled to compensation. they phoned me and asked if i had worked in a factory as they were investigating my hearing loss claim. Told them i hadn t worked in a factory and asked where they got my number. She said from several sources so told her to remove my number off the database.

Repeatedly call to try to sell us appliance insurance - been told not to ring back - utter nuisance

Caller stated that I or my husband had completed their medical information sheet within the last 12/18 months, which we had no knowledge of. He then went onto what aches and pains we suffer with, as this was part of their survey. Again we asked how they had our ex-directory telephone number, which he refused to answer. He was very persistent and we are concerned of a confidentiality breach of our personal medical information. We subsequently visited reviews of their website and comments about this companies
