Told me to press 2 to opt in and 9 to opt out, shouldn't be calling as the number is on the TPS register

So fed up of these nuisance calls.

Fraud - some indian call centre where there is a delay to connect. They were crank calling me all morning. Claim to be from sky and someone is trying to access my internet. Tried to get me to log on to some site and I know it was dodgy so hung up but they keep calling.

caller is a pain in the * wont take no for an answer but maybe when he receives a summons for nuisance calls he may learn!!!

just received a letter from the DWP requesting bank details so they can pay my pension into it instead of the post office.if this is a scam, it's a b****y clever, very convincing one. it was accompanied by a letter in the same post from the post office telling me I could close my card account with them free of penalty, though it's not the type of a/c that incurs penalties. the letter even quotes my national insurance number at the top. very clever of two big organisations to hit the same postal delivery tog

Said that the latest Windows update had downloaded incorrectly meaning that people could access my computer and so could I please get my computer out for them to talk me through what to do. I've heard of this scam where they will pretend to help but really talk you through downloading something which will allow them to access your computer. I blocked the number when the call ended. Further to the above, the caller claimed to be from HMRC - English voice but caller from Glasgow number

when you answer they don't reply and when you ring them back the phone is turned off..apparently it's market research ppi insurance accident crap. They phone any time during the day and night...number now added to blocked list
